This picture just doesn't do it justice but I Love this room. Technically, it's playroom but I would welcome it as my family room. It is just too fun! I love the colors and the simplicity of everything. Nothing ornate. It's very welcoming and warm. This is from Southern Living's Idea Houses 2003. I get a lot of my things from Southern Living. Everyone needs that magazine.

My favorite room

Wow, that is a BEAUTIFUL room. I think I found my new favorite room as well. I'm not overly in love with the sofa but everything else is "simply divine" as Candace Olsen would say. Sure makes me wanna docorate. My major at Ricks was actually Interior Design. I didn't do anything with it while I was there but it's always been something I'd love to continue, although you actually have to be pretty good at math, which I'm not!
I agree. I get Southern Living even though I don't live in the south anymore ):, it is great and has so many beautiful ideas and great recipes! I love this room too.
